Intro to Welding with Anna Petersen (Afternoon Session)

In our Intro to Welding workshop we will cover the basics of welding using a MIG Welder and all attendees will have the opportunity to weld their own small take-home item. We’ll start by covering the basics of how welding works, understanding the applications of welding, and what precautions are necessary to weld safely. Every participant will have the chance to practice a bead or line of a weld and learn how to safely cut scrap metal, before we embark on welding our small take-home items.
